The instrument that gave me my name was the kala-kala, an ancient kalicam.
It was used by the people of the Bantu people for making bows, arrows, spears, spears-like instruments, so named because the sound of their sounds made a sound that came from the bow and arrow that was used to kill them.
And it was very good at singing.
So I was fascinated by the bow-like instrument.
I didn’t really know what it was.
So one day, I was in a classroom and I was listening to the song ‘The World of the Bow’, and it was the first song that they sang.
I was like, “Ahh, that sounds so good.
I want to learn to play it”.
I went to the teacher and said, “This is how I want you to play the kali-kal.
You’re gonna play it with a little finger, with the little finger.
And I’m going to play a melody and you’re going to be singing along with me.”
And she was like “Ok”.
And I was really surprised.
And then I went back and played the song again, and it went along very well.
So then I realised, wow, I can play it.
I have a kalik-kali, an instrument made by the Kalimbe people.
I have a little hand-held kaliko-kalli instrument that I use as a percussion instrument.
I am an avid bow-player and a violinist.
I played kali kali when I was a little girl.
And my friends and I used to play kali, and we were playing in our house.
But I didn’t think that I was actually a violin player until I started playing with the Kalis.
When I was playing, I didn´t think that it would be a very good instrument.
But now, it is an instrument that people love.
They say, “Oh, you are very good.
It’s so good”.
I am so happy, because I have been learning about this instrument for a long time.
And now I can learn to do this instrument.
My favourite song on the Kalik-Kali is ‘Ode to the Forest’.
It is called ‘Odenkap’ by the Tashu people of New Zealand.
I love this song.
I always hear it.
But when I am playing, you can see it.
And the people are always telling me that I am doing something very special.
They are saying, “Your playing is so beautiful.
You are very talented.”
And I am.
I like to play with the bow.
I use it to sing along with the people and sing along to the music.
I find it very exciting.
I think it is really beautiful.
I am not really into classical music, because the Kalmis, the Tazu, the Bambas, the Satsumas, don´t really sing.
But that was really the first time I really felt like I was part of a whole different world.
I could not sing or dance.
But they are singing the song that I used as a little kid and I am happy that I can do that.
It is very beautiful.
And I love that it is a traditional instrument.
Because they use traditional music, it gives me an idea of what they are like.
I can see what they live by.
I hear their story.
I know what they do.
I understand their culture.
It gives me a certain kind of connection.
When you are doing this instrument, you become an instrument in your own right.
You learn the sound and the melody of it.
You become part of the instrument.
So it is great for you to learn this instrument and you can really take it to a new level.
And if you are going to get this instrument into your family, you have to respect your elders.
Because if you don´ve respect your family or if you do not respect your mother or your grandmother, they are going see you as a tool for something that is not real.
You can be like, I am going to make this instrument so I can go and make this beautiful instrument for my mother or my grandmother.
And that´s how I have learnt to play this instrument over the years.
I will always be an instrument player, because it gives a connection to my elders.
It has a very strong feeling of power, and when you are playing, it feels very powerful.
It also gives you a great sense of rhythm.
So when you get up to sing, it can feel like you are a part of this great world.
It sounds like an instrument.
It’s a very, very good way to learn.
I love it.
It gives you such a strong feeling that you have a connection.
When you play it, you feel like
