Flyers reallocate some of their goaltending responsibilities to Michal Nebuhls newest teammate, in a bid to help them get back to the playoffs.
Nemu is a 25-year-old Finnish netminder with the Lulea of the Swedish Hockey League who is looking to add more NHL experience.
He made his professional debut in March, playing in two games before sustaining an injury in the preseason.
The Flyers signed Nebuhl last summer as a free agent and he has been one of the team’s best goaltenders since then.
The Flyers also announced Friday that they have agreed to terms with forward Alexey Marchenko.
Marchenko, a former Russian NHLer, has played for three NHL teams, including the Carolina Hurricanes.
He is scheduled to join the Flyers on July 2.
